It grates at the bones that shiver and crack
Under incredible weight that drags us all down
But sometimes it seems greater alone in the night
When doubts and insecurities creep into the minds
Of even the strongest of humans in time.
We’re all subject to fears as dark as these dreams
That crowd in the corners of shadowy rooms,
But it’s the strength at these times
That make life or break spirits in two
But tiredness will pass with the wonder of sleep
And the healing that happens in the land of Sir Nod.

There’s something about that sort of exhaustion that just saps everything you have, isn’t there? It’s amazing, though, what a good night’s rest can do…
I was so exhausted that I just couldn’t even focus. Each night feels like medicine and I start feeling just a little bit better each morning.
