And if you do
I’ll be there for you
Forever and a day
And possibly become
A bit of a stalker.
There have been so many horrible images on the news recently as they have been covering the earhquake in Turkey and Syria. But in disaster situations you should always look out for the helpers and that’s where you’ll see the little glimmers of light.
And there are lots of stories of brave people helping out to rescue people who are still being pulled from the rubble, a week on from when the earthquake struck.
This Tweet was one of my favourite lighter moments that came from a terrible event. One of the rescuers happened to pull a cat out of the rubble and now the cat refuses to leave him and just sits on his shoulder.
I think this is proof that we all need an animal in our lives. The love of an animal is a beautiful thing.
Much Love

I’ve really been glad to see those rescue photos, too, Rachel. It reminds one that there is good in the world, and that we keep going on. Amidst all of that sorrow, it’s nice to be a bit lifted up.

You’re so right. Animals need homes; homes need animals.
