Queuing for hours as we wait for match tickets

Or sunbathing on stretches of well tended lawn

Watching on screens for those that aren’t lucky

Not getting in to watch Novak or Rafa

As the Princess of Wales is driven in style

Right to the door, and up to the box,

Photographers poised and ready to snap

Her beautiful smile, thrown out to Roger

As he hits ace after ace on his fabulous trip

From week one to week two, and into the final,

Lifting the trophy to rapturous applause.
